Preserve Your Story

Some narratives capture a single chapter, milestone or turning point. Others explore a life in greater depth through an extended process of conversation and editorial development.

We offer several pathways, each shaped around the scale and significance of the story being preserved.

You share your story. We listen carefully, ask meaningful questions and transform your lived experience into a professionally written narrative.

How It Works

1. Complimentary Consultation

Every project begins with a confidential consultation. This initial conversation allows us to discuss your story, the significance of the experiences you wish to preserve and the pathway best suited to your project. There is no obligation to proceed, and all discussions remain private.

2. Narrative Conversations

Once commissioned, we arrange a series of guided conversations designed to explore your experiences in depth. These conversations may take place online, by telephone or in person where appropriate.

3. Writing & Editorial Development

Following each conversation, your story is professionally written and shaped into a cohesive narrative.

This process transforms spoken memories and experiences into a carefully crafted literary work while preserving the character, tone and essence of your story.

4. Review & Refinement

You will have the opportunity to review the manuscript and request amendments where required.

This collaborative stage ensures the finished work accurately reflects your experiences, perspectives and intentions before final completion.

5. Delivery of Your Narrative

Upon completion, your narrative is delivered in the format associated with your chosen edition. Full intellectual property rights are assigned to you. Your story becomes entirely yours—to keep private, print for family, pursue publication, or preserve

Depending on the pathway selected, this may include a private digital manuscript, printed editions or a bespoke bound volume designed for long-term preservation.

Aurelia Storyhouse never publishes, shares or references your work without your explicit permission.

Frequently Asked

Questions

How long does the process take?

Most Keepsake projects are completed within several weeks, while Milestone and Legacy Editions are developed over a longer period to allow for deeper exploration and editorial refinement.

A projected timeline will be provided during your consultation.

Are conversations conducted online or in person?

Most narrative conversations are conducted online, allowing clients to participate from anywhere in the world. Telephone and in-person meetings may also be arranged where appropriate.

What will I receive?

The final deliverable depends upon the narrative pathway selected. Projects may be supplied as private digital manuscripts, printed editions or bespoke bound volumes created for personal preservation and family legacy.

Who owns the finished work?

The completed narrative belongs entirely to you. Nothing is published, shared, referenced or distributed without your explicit written permission. Confidentiality forms a fundamental part of every commission.

Can family members contribute?

Yes. Where appropriate, family members, partners or other significant individuals may contribute additional perspectives, memories or supporting material to enrich the narrative.

Why are there no fixed page counts?

Every story is different. The page counts shown are intended as a guide rather than a guarantee. The final length depends on the depth of the narrative, the number of conversations and the material shared throughout the process.
